November 1st, 2009 - Asphalt Institute welcomes three new members

The Asphalt Institute, a U.S.-based international association of petroleum asphalt producers, manufacturers and affiliated businesses, welcomed three new members recently - reaching an all-time high of 101 members in its 90th year.

Ajax Asphalt Terminal in Troy, Michigan is the newest commercial member. Ajax is the asphalt binder storage and polymer modified asphalt production assets for Ajax Paving Industries.

Petrochem Manufacturing, Inc. (PMI) in Carlsbad, California is the newest affiliate member. PMI markets asphalt modification processes and pavement preservation techniques.

Road Science, LLC in Tulsa, Oklahoma is the newest associate member. Road Science markets technology for pavement maintenance, recycyling and material science and also offers engineering services.
