Ashley Twehues joined the Asphalt Institute in 2025 as the Meeting Planner and Events Manager. In her role, she coordinates and executes all logistical elements for the Institute’s three annual member meetings held across North America. Ashley also provides technical support for the Institute’s on-site training courses, ensuring a seamless experience for registrants and delivering on-site hospitality. Since joining the organization, she has served as the staff liaison to the Meetings Task Force, helping guide the selection and planning of future meeting locations.
Before joining the Asphalt Institute, Ashley spent 10 years at Eastern Kentucky University. A three-time EKU graduate, she earned her B.A. in Public Relations, an M.S. in Recreation and Park Administration, and a post-graduate certificate in Community Development. She began her career as a data specialist, later advancing into university event planning, and ultimately moving into artist hospitality and event services, where she provided logistical and hospitality support for performing arts productions.
Ashley enjoys spending time outdoors and shares her home with three dogs.
