Lora Collins is the Asphalt Value Chain Senior Director for Marathon Petroleum, where she provides strategic leadership across the company’s integrated asphalt business. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Ohio Northern University and began her career in research chemistry roles at Pfizer and Procter & Gamble.

Collins joined Marathon Petroleum in 2007 as a propane product manager and has since held a wide range of leadership positions within the Marketing organization. Her roles have included brand district sales manager, asphalt technology manager, diesel pricing manager, coordinating staff manager, wholesale marketing region manager, and asphalt region manager. In October 2017, her responsibilities expanded into her current role as Asphalt Value Chain Senior Director, where she oversees critical elements of asphalt strategy, operations, and market alignment.

Marathon Petroleum is the largest asphalt producer in the United States, marketing more than 130 asphalt products from seven refineries. The company operates a fully integrated asphalt system that leverages multiple transportation modes and a nationwide network of 27 terminals to safely and efficiently serve customers.

As her career has progressed, Collins has become deeply engaged in the asphalt industry and its future. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Women of Asphalt, supporting leadership development and inclusion across the industry.
